I got the larimer burrito and it was pretty good! The only two complaints would be that the potatoes were overcooked a little bit and they do put a lot of sauce on the top, but that last one is probably a personal preference of mine. Tasted great, you should probably add in an extra protein in there. The service and atmosphere though. Top-notch and it is definitely worth the visit
8/1/25: Short version - wow, was Taste Local awesome! The staff was very friendly; the drinks were wonderfully different; the food was scrumptious; and the decor was chaotic (nothing matched) yet it all worked to provide a small, country home feel. There was some artwork on the walls for sale from local artists. Some of it was stunning, I wish I had more money to buy a piece. Longer version - we were visiting Loveland from Arizona & while searching for a place for breakfast, Taste's menu looked appealing -- and it did not disappoint. Drinks: we started off with the juicy ginger chai & rosemary pear. Loved them! The pear had a more mild flavor but my sister fully enjoyed it, while I loved my ginger chai. The entire time we were there we kept looking at a couple other drinks that sounded just as good ... so we decided to get a couple more to go: sunny day sip & matcha. I didn't think it would be possible but the sunny day sip was even better than the ginger chai. Food: holy cow, I'm still salivating over their food. We ordered the large cinnamon roll, blood orange pistachio crepe, and cherry chocolate waffle. The cinnamon roll? We both actually thought it was more like a streusel. It had an apple flavor with it, with a slightly crunchy top & and airy center; the perfect amount of cinnamon. The crepe? I love crepes. I have eaten a lot of crepes, from many different restaurants. Let me tell you, Taste's pistachio crepe was one of the BEST CREPES EVER. The flavor combination was paired perfectly, the crepe was fluffy, the potatoes were expertly seasoned. The only item on the plate I didn't like was the popper -- but only because it was waaay too hot for me. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her waffle. I had a small bite & agree it was also delicious. Staff: our server was Sammy (Sammie?) and the mixologist was Graham. Both were wonderful: friendly, smiling, helpful, & just all around nice. Sammy never forgot us. Despite being relatively busy, she continually kept return

I got a brule crem crape with there Carmel latte and truly was beautiful and delicious! Never had a crep quite like this one! Very unique! Service was very nice! Invited for a special treat with friends. TASTE Local is having a 4 course 1st Friday supper club. Menu changes monthly so be prepared for a treat. Tonight's menus shown in photo. All dishes were excellently plated so they were a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. Each courses are larger than expected for a 4 course service. Tonight's chocolate mole as the West Town Paneta was exquisite and worth the price. Services is top notch, attentive, and friendly. Drinks are paired and featured for the evening. All in all, a must dine if you'd like a casual fine dining experience at a quirky and welcoming space. Put it on your dining list
Local vibe with great service and attention to customer needs. Jaycee our waitress did a fantastic job for how busy they were. She’s a sweet young lady with ambition! She made great recommendations and took the time to ask what we liked about our food (instead of the usual, how was everything question). We asked to take back a drink, and she responded with such grace. She makes a great addition this locally sourced establishment. Neal the owner seemed so invested in the success of his employees; taking the opportunity to assist when there was a need and still have time to interact with his customers. His dedication to the customers was evident in the retention seen during the visit. We ordered the sweet potato hash and the cinnamon roll. Both were outstanding. The cinnamon roll is worth every bite!
Absolutely loved their French toast!!! Reminded me of my grandma's, soft but not soggy and deliciously sweet. The service was also excellent!
Went to Taste Local for their new Supper Club and it was wonderful! The staff were helpful, friendly, and smiling. The food was unique and delicious and the cocktails were incredible (see pic!) Sadly I only took a pic of the first course (seared panels with poblano cream, poblano mole, fried nopales & cilantro), wish I took one of the others. They were each a work of art. I’ve had breakfast and lunch there several times, but never dinner. We will be back! Gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was quite loud.
Food here is soooo good! What a gem. Had the sweet potato hash with poached eggs, and a side of bacon, all perfectly prepared. A jalapeno popper that came with the meal was a treat. Decided to for after-brunch coffee and had the dirty chili chocolate latte. Amazing. I will be back.
A fun eatery with wonderful food and super nice servers. I got a Ceasar salad and cinnamon roll, husband got biscuits and gravy with a SW twist.
TLDR: amazing place!! come here!!! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is special. From the adorable mismatched chairs, linens, mugs, etc, you can tell they’re committed to sustainability. The staff was super friendly, service was quick and food and drink amazing. We had the baklava latte which was amazing! Both iced and hot were delicious. For our entrees, I had the maple bacon sandwich and my husband had the cowboy fry. The maple bacon sandwich was out of this world! One of those moments where you savor every single bite - excellent pairing of sweet and spicy. Everything we could tell was local, down to the hot sauce! It was super cool to see where everything was sourced from. And while they weren’t needed because everything was seasoned to perfection, even the salt and pepper shakers were super cute. 🥰 I can’t recommend this place higher!
